I use Pinterest a lot. I use it to promote my designs, search for inspiration, read blogs and save my next project. It’s an amazing resource but sometimes, I wish I didn’t have it. Do you use Pinterest? It’s a visual search engine and a great way to collate things that inspire you. Click the image below to find me on there.
Inspiration came too late
This week, I found not one, not two but three gorgeous crochet dress patterns that would be started far too late for me to be able to wear them this summer. In case you didn’t know, here in the UK, we are actually having some lovely summer weather at the end of July. This is rare, it seems. Have you made anything to wear this summer?
I realise that I could still get started on a crochet summer dress now and maybe catch September sunshine in it but with the way work is at the moment, I just wouldn’t have time to finish it. I am instead working on an autumn jumper. You know it makes sense.
Other interesting things this month:
I recently wrote this blog post showing you what my top choices were for summer-friendly yarns. If cotton is too hard on your hands, there are other plant-based ans synthetic alternatives here. Have fun!
I hope you get to crochet those gorgeous dresses next summer! I know my readers will resonate. 😊
